KYRA RUTHERFORD

As an individual who has loved designing spaces for years, I decided to pursue my education in design for several reasons.  My interests lie in accessibility, diversity, functionality and sustainability when creating a space.  As a design student, I strive to create spaces that make everyone feel comfortable and included.  I believe that we have the ability to create functional spaces that are also aesthetically pleasing and sustainable for all guests to enjoy. I imagine a successful designer to be patient, reliable and resourceful when working with clients and team members.  I would describe myself as being organized, meticulous and collaborative when working on projects.
